Perfect for the traveller who would like to spend a little time game viewing before spending some time relaxing on Kenya’s spectacular beaches, Adventure to Mombasa It’s called Kilimanjaro Safari to Mombasa Coast starts with a night to relax in Nairobi after the international flight. Then you travel between destinations in the mornings having the afternoons for game viewing. At the end of your adventure, you transfer to your choice of resorts to complete a perfect holiday.

Itinerary:
Day 1: Upon arrival, you are met and transferred to the Hotel.

Day 2: Depart Nairobi to Amboseli. Lunch and an afternoon game drive.

Day 3: After breakfast, drive to Tsavo West with game-viewing en route. Lunch at Kilaguni Serena Lodge. Afternoon game drive in Tsavo West and then drive to Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary. Evening game viewing from the lodge.

Day 4: Morning game drive in Taita Hills with lunch at Sarova Taita Hills Lodge. Afternoon game drive in Tsavo East en route to the lodge.

Day 5: Morning game drive in Tsavo East with lunch at the lodge. Afternoon transfer to Mombasa for your beach stay or onward connections.

Wonders of Kenya is for travellers that have a bit more time before reaching their beach resort, The Shadow of Kilimanjaro safari enjoys two days in Amboseli National Park as well as an overnight at Kilaguni Serena Lodge in Tsavo West National Park. Operating on request, you have the flexibility to choose the dates of travel. Starting the safari at Nairobi Serena Hotel sets the tone for the great time ahead. We recommend a Frangipani Aromatic Massage at the Maisha Health Club & Spa (additional cost will apply).

Itinerary:

Day 1

Transfer on arrival to your hotel.

Day 2

Morning departure to Amboseli. Lunch at the lodge then afternoon game drive.

Day 3

Morning and afternoon game drives.

Day 4

Drive to Tsavo West. View Shetani Lava Flow and continue to your lodge arriving for lunch. Afternoon game drive.

Day 5

Morning game drive. Lunch at the lodge. Drive to Taita Hills with game viewing en route. Evening game viewing from the lodge.

Day 6

Morning game drive. Lunch at Sarova Taita Hills Lodge. Transfer to Mombasa for your beach stay or onward connection.

One of Africa’s most magnificent attractions is the continuous movement of more than one and a half million wildebeest. The world’s largest migration of mammals has been featured for years on television programmes, with vivid images of wildebeest after wildebeest leaping into the Mara River. Equally thrilling is the site of new calves being born and struggling to get their footing with the threat of predators always nearby.

Many travellers hope to include the opportunity to view the migration as part of their safari. Our map below helps provide a typical cycle of migration movements. It is important to note that the cycle is dependant on rainfall and growth of grass and may not be exactly as shown.
