As above but then travel to Slipway for lunch. After lunch, drive along the beach with views of the Indian Ocean. Visit Mnazi Moja Park and pass the ferry landing. Return transfer to your hotel.

For travellers arriving at Dar es Salaam’s JKN International Airport from Zanzibar or southern Tanzania to connect with an international departure, there is often some extra time to fill. Also, domestic flights generally arrive at Terminal 1 and international flights depart from Terminal 2. A road transfer is required between the two terminals. Day Trip to Bagamoyo

You depart your Dar es Salaam hotel by 0700 and drive to historic Bagamoyo. This town was once the staging point for historic explorers such as Stanley, Speke and Burton. The trip includes entry fees to the attractions and lunch. Return to Dar es Salaam by 1800 and drop off at your hotel or the airport for your departure flight.

Bongoyo Island

FULL DAY DEPARTING 0930 – INCLUDES LUNCH

Meet at Dar es Salaam’s airport, seaport or your hotel and transfer to Slipway where you board a small boat for your 30 minute cruise to the island located off the coast of Dar es Salaam. You have use of the island’s facilities and sandy beach for a chance to swim, snorkel and relax. Lunch is served on the island. Afternoon return by boat and transfer to connect with your onward travel arrangements.
